Welcome

My paintings explore the dynamics of borders and boundaries, both visually and psychologically.  Borders shift, relationships change.  Adjustments are made.



Emerging in my paintings are transparent layers of paint.  As decisions are reached and adjustments made, relationship of shape and color changes.  Transparency allows previous decisions to influence current ones.  As the painting reaches completion, the
piece becomes a diary of beginnings and endings,  a record of the journey.
